Kelly Dakarian, LPC

“I am dedicated to helping individuals unearth and share their untold stories, fostering healing and resilience through meaningful and interactive therapy.

Recognizing the intimidating nature of therapy, I commit to working closely with my clients and their support systems to offer unwavering support and consistency. I strive to cultivate a non-judgmental, warm, supportive, collaborative, and client-centered environment. Here, clients can flourish, exploring their strengths and values, acquiring skills to surmount obstacles, and ultimately leading a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

My therapeutic approach is versatile and evidence based, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). This allows me to tailor treatment plans to the specific needs of each individual I serve.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology Counseling Practice from Roosevelt University, my expertise spans various treatment settings. I have worked in outpatient therapy, school-based services, partial hospitalization, and community-based services, focusing on children, adolescents, and young adults.

My areas of interest and specialties encompass Anxiety/OCD and Eating Disorders. With a wealth of experience, I am dedicated to facilitating growth and positive transformation in the lives of those I serve.”
